Our Mission

We are a student advocacy first organization that endeavors to create a welcoming and vibrant academic community by providing resources to enhance the learning experience of our students; strengthen community relationships by encouraging more family involvement; and by supporting our Students, our Families, and our Staff at South Creek Middle School through enriching programs and activities.

WHAT DOES THE PTSA DO? WHY SHOULD I JOIN?

The PTSA provides support to students, teachers and parents in many ways. Just a few examples of programs your money and time will go toward include:

  • Health & Wellness Programs

  • Cultural Arts Programs

  • Financial Support for Libraries & Teacher Appreciation Events

  • Seminars for Parents

PTSA MEETINGS

What happens at a PTSA meeting? Our principal Sean Brown, and the current teacher representative attend our meetings to discuss school issues, initiatives and events. A student representative from each grade also presents information and we often invite guest speakers to discuss relevant topics with parents.

Dates of meetings are listed here and are also posted on the school website and in the school calendar. All meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm, following the SAC meeting at 5:30pm in the Media Center.

All are welcome to attend our monthly meetings, with general assembly meetings occurring every three months. Our meetings are children friendly so bring the little ones along.  We'll always have something special just for them.

See you there!
